Reports of Anti Social Behaviour in and around Clarendon Park

Hello Residents,

Anti-Social Behaviour Alert – Clarendon Park

We have received reports of groups of youths gathering in the Clarendon Park area, particularly around the Roston Drive car park, and engaging in anti-social behaviour during the late evening and early hours of the morning.

Concerns raised include:

We would like to stress that we are not seeking to prevent young people from enjoying themselves, socialising with friends, or making the most of the summer months. However, when behaviour begins to have a negative impact on residents, businesses and visitors through excessive noise, intimidation, littering, alcohol-related disorder or suspected drug use, it becomes a matter for police attention.

Local officers are aware of the concerns and will be carrying out patrols where possible to identify those responsible and address any issues.

We encourage residents to continue reporting incidents, as information from the community helps us build a clearer picture of when and where these issues are occurring.

If you have any CCTV, Ring doorbell footage, mobile phone videos, photographs or other evidence relating to these incidents, please report it to Leicestershire Police. This information could assist officers in identifying those involved and taking appropriate action.

We would also ask parents and guardians to consider whether they know where their children are during the late evening and early hours of the morning, and to ensure they are safe and not becoming involved in behaviour that may have a negative impact on the local community.
